The TN11 is able to provide 2 immediately accessible modes by either having the head loosened or tightened, though in the tightened head position the TN11 will always be on Max output brightness. Entering the programming mode is done by a sequence of tightening/loosening the head twice within 2 seconds. This will then engage the light to cycle in the following:
Firefly > Infinite Brightness 5%-85% > Slow Strobe > Quick Strobe
The TN11 produced a tight hotspot with a mid-sized corona area. The entire beam profile is clean and smooth with no noticeable artifacts. Beam tint is almost pure white, just slightly cool when compared to sunlight white. Runtime is pretty good considering its output of over 700 lumens. As with the TN12, the TN11 has a wide range of output levels, from the aforementioned Max mode to its lowest Firefly mode. Also, all level provide visually constant illumination with no noticeable signs of PWM or the like. At Max output mode, the light remains at peak brightness for about 10 minutes, following which it settles to about 88%. Regulation is expectedly better when running on higher voltage battery configurations.
